Introduction

1.1 – Welcome to YouDrive and our related services (our “Site”). Our Site is owned and operated by YouDriveHealth Limited (‘we’, ‘us’ or ‘our’) and was created in 2015 to address the physical, financial and mental needs of the UK consumer. We are proud to have links to Local Government, Birmingham City Council.

1.2 – Please read these terms and conditions of use (“Terms”) before using our Site. By using our Site (whether as a visitor or a registered user) you are agreeing to be bound by these Terms. If you don’t wish to be bound by what you read below, you shouldn’t use our Site and services.

1.3 – We may make changes to these Terms at any time. We will let you know what these changes are by posting them to this page, but it is your responsibility as a user to make sure that you are aware of them, by checking for any changes on a regular basis. Changes will become effective as soon as they are posted. If you continue to use our Site after the posting of changes to these Terms, it means that you accept any such changes.

1.4 – Registration

By registering, you certify that all information you provide in the registration is accurate. Users may only maintain one active registration. In other words, it’s one registration per person. By accepting this agreement, you certify that you have no other registration with YouDrive.

You must have a valid email registered with us at all times. If an email that we send to you should bounce for some reason, your account may be temporarily suspended until you contact us with a verifiable address.

You, the end user, agree to provide true, accurate, current and complete information about yourself and you agree to not misrepresent your identity or your account information. You agree to keep your account information up to date and accurate.

Failure to disclose any information or providing inaccurate personal information may result in the product or service you take being invalidated. In the case of an insurance product this may result in a claim not being paid.

1.5 – Access to our Site

Access to our Site is permitted on a temporary basis, and we reserve the right to withdraw or amend the service we provide on our Site without notice. We will not be liable if for any reason our Site is unavailable at any time or for any period.

From time to time, we may restrict access to some parts of our Site, or our entire site, to users who have registered with us.

Our Site is all about providing you with access to unique tools, services and information on a wide range of products, provided by third parties. We provide regularly updated general information, tools and services with articles and information on how to save money. The information that you read on our Site is a great starting point for your further research into what suits your particular requirements. 

Our information does not constitute any form of financial or other advice, recommendation, representation, endorsement or arrangement by us and is not intended to be relied upon by you in making (or refraining from making) any specific investment or other decisions. If we mention companies on our Site, we usually do so because of their useful features and benefits, or their attractive pricing. As a general policy we don’t vet them on customer service or investigate their solvency. Given that the impact of any information expressed on our Site can vary widely based on your particular circumstances, you should always carry out your own research into the product that is of interest to you.

We take your privacy seriously. Please read our Privacy Policy to see how we manage the information you share with us.

5.1 – Our Site does include details on, or links through to, information provided by other websites including our specialist partners. We don’t control the accuracy or completeness of that information. You take full responsibility for using that information and verifying it and for any decision to use, purchase or refrain from purchasing any of the services or products mentioned on a linked site. If you do purchase products or services from another website please read their terms and conditions carefully before deciding to buy or transact. Remember, your contract for those products or services will be with them, not us.

5.2 – When you use other websites, any personal information you give them will be dealt with in line with their privacy policies, not ours, so please read the privacy policies of each and every such website before using them.

5.3 – Some of the links included on our Site may be affiliated links. These are links that take you directly or indirectly to a product provider and which may result in us receiving a fee or commission as a consequence of you clicking through to their site or purchasing a product from them.

6.1 – All of the content on our Site is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by English and international copyright laws.

6.2 – Our content includes any information or other material found on youdrivehealth.com or youdrivehealth.org.uk, including tools, posts, articles, databases, graphics, software and all other features of our Site. You are allowed to use our content for personal, non-commercial use only. You may make one copy of extracts from this Site on any single computer for personal, individual use only, provided that all copyright and proprietary notices are kept intact. Apart from that, none of our content may be republished, posted, transmitted, stored, sold, distributed or modified without our prior written consent.

6.3 – The YouDriveHealth brand, logo and livery are owned by YouDriveHealth Limited. All other brand names and trade marks that appear on this Site are trade marks or trade names of their respective holders. No permission is given to use of any of these brands or marks and any such use may constitute an infringement of the holders’ rights.

6.4 – The information provided on our Site, or via links to our Site, is for general information purposes only. It is not, and should not be construed as, financial or other professional advice. You should not rely on the information you find here to inform your decisions; rather, use it as a starting point for doing your own independent research.

6.5 – In the material we make available on our Site, we rely on a wide variety of sources and other websites. We believe these sources of data to be generally accurate and reliable, but sometimes they may not be. YouDriveHealth Limited makes no claims or representations as to the accuracy, completeness, or truth of any material contained on our Site. Nor is YouDriveHealth Limited liable for any errors or delays in the content or transmission of the data on our Site.

7.1 – Our Site and email products may, from time to time, include third-party advertisements. The appearance of an advert does not mean that we endorse the advertiser’s goods or services. While we will not knowingly run an advert that is untrue, YouDriveHealth is not responsible for the accuracy of any advertising material or the usefulness of an advertised product or service.

7.2 – In our various product comparison centres, we may feature a number of providers that have paid YouDriveHealth to promote their services to you. We do not recommend one over another and these areas are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all providers of a particular  product. It is up to you to decide whether what they offer is right for you. You can find more detailed information about our relationship with our sponsors in the disclosure documents for each of our product comparison centres.

7.3 – Please note that YouDrivehealth has no control over the third party providers listed in our comparison centres. Accordingly, YouDriveHealth Limited specifically disclaims all liability for any damage or costs of any type arising out of or in any way connected with your use of a provider’s service or product included in our product comparison centres.

We encourage debate of the promotion or recommendation of our service between our users, their friends and family. However, we do require that your use of Social Media and any other communication systems that we provide is lawful and in accordance with these Terms of Service.

We offer a number of unique tools and services that give you access to transact with a wide range of products including our regular Physical,Financial and Mental Health communications by email and content we provide on our Site. We may also launch new tools and services from time to time (“YouDriveHealth Tools and Services”).

9.1 – Product Comparison service

9.1.1 – Any Product Comparison service enables you to compare a wide range of products.

9.1.2 – YouDrive has selected Quotezone to provide you with this service. If you subsequently apply for a product using the product comparison service we may both receive a payment, as a fee or commission, from your chosen provider for introducing you to them as a customer.

9.1.3 – When using the Product Comparison service you should read the disclaimer wording in the footer of each page (“About This Service”) that explains how the service is provided. We suggest you read the Quotezone Services Terms and Conditions (including Complaints Policy), Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

9.2 – Product Partners

9.2.1 – In addition to the Product Comparison Service, and when you interact with us by telephone, we may suggest that you speak with one of our specialist Product Partners who will be able to assist you further with your product enquiry or need.

9.2.2 – In most cases, and only with your consent, we will transfer you directly to our specialist partner who will continue to discuss your needs and may also provide you with financial advice.

9.2.3 – When you choose to contact one of our Product Partners you will be bound by their terms and conditions which they will explain to you or make available for your acceptance before continuing or transacting into their product offering.

9.2.4 – If you subsequently apply for a product using one of our Product Partners we may receive a payment, as a fee or commission, from your chosen provider for introducing you to them as a customer.

We provide our Site in good faith but we can’t and don’t warrant the completeness, truth or accuracy of the information or other content or postings found on our Site, or their usefulness for any particular purpose. You acknowledge and agree that you bear full responsibility for your own research and decisions and that we shall not be liable for any action that you or others take or don’t take based on your use of or reliance on information provided by us or other users of our Site.

10.1 – Before you apply for any products via our Site and in particular the YouDriveHealth Tools and Services, it is very important you (i) carefully read the terms and conditions of the product, the product provider’s terms and conditions and any other terms applicable to the product; (ii) check all the information held by the product provider about you to ensure it is correct, complete and accurate. It is your responsibility to (i) ensure the product matches your requirements and that you agree to the terms and conditions of the product before you apply for it; and (ii) identify and correct any mistakes or errors in the information about you held by the product provider before you apply for any product. We cannot accept any liability for any loss or damage you may suffer or incur: (i) in the event that any product you apply for does not meet your requirements, or is not suitable for you; or (ii) if any information about you held by the product provider is not correct, complete and accurate; or (iii) if it is misleading, or if you have failed to disclose all relevant facts. If you are in any doubt as to whether any information is relevant or required to be disclosed, or that something may be incorrect, you should disclose it to your proposed provider before you apply for the product.

10.2 – We don’t promise that your access to our Site, or its content will be delivered uninterrupted, timely or error-free, or that the Site will be free from viruses or other harmful properties. It’s your responsibility to implement satisfactory safeguards and procedures to make sure any files you obtain through our Site are free from such contaminations or other harmful properties.

10.3 – The effect of what is set out here is that you agree that under no circumstances will we be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental or other type loss or injury resulting from your use, or downloading of any content on our Site.

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless us, our directors, officers, employees and licensors from and against any claim, liability, cost, damage or loss we may incur (including reasonable legal fees) as a result of any material that you post or transmit on our Site, Social Media or via any other communications systems, any actions you take which disrupt access to and/or the functioning of our Site or any breach by you of your obligations under these Terms.

If any provision in this Agreement is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. These Terms of Service shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales as if the Agreement was a contract wholly entered into and wholly performed within England. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms of Service, but without prejudice to YouDriveHealth Ltd’s ability to bring proceedings against a user in the courts of any jurisdiction.

These Terms were published on 01 October 2018 and updated in January 2019, and again in June 2022 – these replace with immediate effect the any previously published Terms.

We try to provide an excellent service but if things go wrong we will do everything we can to put things right and help you. If you have a complaint please notify us by email to [email protected]

Please mark your communication as a complaint and include your name and address, a contact telephone number and an explanation of why you are unhappy. We will contact you to either resolve your issue or to seek further information if we need it.

In any event we will send a written acknowledgement of your complaint within 5 working days of its receipt and within 8 weeks we will send you a final response or a letter explaining why we have not been able to resolve the issue.

If your complaint is to do with a product you have purchased from a third party referred by us either via the Site or by our contact centre staff then you can complain directly to the provider of the product. We cannot answer complaints or accept responsibility on behalf of a third party provider of a product or service.
