Vaping-related injuries have been reported in 48 US states with deaths in 15. The youngest death was 15 and the oldest in their 70s.
The CDC has advised people to stop vaping, whether nicotine or marijuana based.
Vaping is huge in the UK, with nearly three million users (BBC Newsbeat).
Symptoms include shortness of breath, coughing, fever, fatigue and pneumonia and respiratory failure.
