Perth want to tackle the ‘hidden killer’ loneliness by building a “one stop place” for health and social care information and a “physical hub” for activities focused on improving wellbeing.

Tracey Reilly, secretary of the Perth Community Activities Hub, pointed out that loneliness could be hidden in city centres, and they wanted to provide a supportive space for people to become connected.

They are being supported by charity PKAVS, which is part of Perth and Kinross Health and Social Care Partnership.

YouDrive says:

This is a great initiative.  City centres are in danger of becoming soulless places as shops close, and this can help bring life back as well as provide support for vulnerable people.
