It’s really important to enjoy life. It is the one chance we have – it certainly isn’t a rehearsal.
Why are we always in such a hurry? Does it matter if we are two minutes later getting somewhere? Slow down, take your time, breathe deeply, quieten the inner chatter and enjoy living – just be.
It’s so easy to take things for granted. We should consider our blessings – the next time we feel fed up just list the things you’re grateful for, including the opportunity to make positive changes in life.
1. See what’s important to you. Not what’s important to other people, what makes you happy. List the key things.
2. Live in the present. The past and the future only exist in your head. This is called Mindfulness, which is the basic human ability to be fully present, aware of where we are and what we’re doing, and not overly reactive or overwhelmed by what’s going on around us.
3. Care for the right people. Show your love for the key people in your life. Be kind to other people. Ignore people who point out your mistakes and bring you down.
4. Don’t compromise your values but keep your mind open. Trust your instincts but don’t condemn others for their views without trying to understand their point of view
