This information is about the specific health area mentioned above. It comprises a combination of textual and video information, on our site and on external sites.  We will be adding new specific health areas and further information continually.

General Information

Health can be defined as “a state of physical, mental, and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity” (1). Good health is a pre-requisite for participation in a wide range of activities including education and employment.

General health is defined as: the state of health of the body as a whole, or of a community.

General Health is a phrase we do not always take seriously especially when we are younger. We assume because we abuse our bodies at a younger age and there are no serious effects of that abuse we just continue. If only people stopped for a moment and did their research in those early years abuse which may not show for years surfaces and then it’s often too late.

Simply put excessive ANYTHING isn’t good for you. If you have played rugby from 7 years old to 37 you are likely to suffer hip and joint issues in your 60s. If you drink heavily up to your forties you are likely to have serious health issues in your seventies.

Some people might say so what, on average we die at 80 so that’s not bad. But its not about death its about quality of life in older age. The new government initiative is trying to make people aware of abusing your body earlier in life will result in poor quality of life in older age.

However, you may need a larger dose or B12 or B6 or vitamin D, so check it out first.
